Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback about ALICE! We have been listening and working to build the best generative construction simulation solution. Here are the improvements that have been completed in February:
New features
-
New Recipe Editor: The Recipe Editor is now on full screen, so that you have more space for complex recipes. The canvas has become infinite, and you can zoom in and out, and scroll vertically and horizontally.
-
Define Merge behavior for Custom Properties: You can now define whether custom property values should be summed/averaged/min/max/listed on grouping, and then recalculate as many times as you like while preserving the original values in root elements.
-
Handle out of sequence statuses in Manage: If the as-built data input from Manage conflicts with the constraints set up in the plan, the scheduler is now able to handle and resolve those conflicts without requiring the user to go back and update the plan. More details will be posted on the knowledgebase soon!
Improvements
-
New Manage Metrics In Explore Page: You can now more easily identify solution sets that are part of your Manage progression, you can access for each of those sets: the “scheduled from” as well as the “latest progress from” dates. This will allow you to know for each previously managed solution, what were the data date values on its creation as well as just before it was replaced by another strategy.
-
Update Terminology for Custom Properties (previously: UDF's): The terminology across the app for “User Defined Fields” (UDF's for short) was updated to “Custom Property” as it better describes those properties.
-
Increase Manage CSV Upload Limit: CSV upload limit for Manage was increased to 20 MB to better support large amounts of data for complex projects.
-
Explore Page shows ‘Scheduled From’ dates for updated simulations: When reviewing your simulations on the Explore page, it helps to know how recent/relevant each simulation is, and how much of each simulation is as-built vs suggested paths moving forward. The new ‘Scheduled From’ date on the simulation container will give you this information!
