Calendars

This article outlines everything you need to know about creating and assigning calendars in ALICE.

Creating Workweeks

Before you can create a calendar, you need to create a workweek. A workweek outlines the working hours and the overtime hours (if applicable) for a single week for the calendar you are about to create. A calendar may use multiple workweeks at different times of the month/year.

For a more hands-on experience, navigate through the player for an interactive walk-through, or if you prefer a more detailed approach, scroll down for a step-by-step guide:

Create Workweek:

  1. In the Resources tab located in the upper right, go to the Calendar section.
  2. Under the Calendar section, switch to Workweek
  3. Enter the workweek name and click Create Workweek
  4. Click Add Normal Hours to add daily working hours
  5. Move the blue bars to adjust the working hours - repeat the same for every working day required

Add Overtime Hours:

  1. Increase the salary rate multiplayer next to "Add Normal Hours."
  2. ALICE will calculate the resource salary based on the multiplier applied to each workday
  3. Click "Add Overtime Hours" and use the bars to adjust it according to project requirements.
