Platform Overview
The ALICE Platform consists of 3 products:
- ALICE Plan
- Based on customer demand, we are offering our visual planning tool as a new standalone product called ALICE Plan. It includes Gantt and visual planning, but does not include our proprietary AI algorithms that power optimization or what-if scenarios.
- ALICE Optimize (formerly known as Core)
- ALICE Optimize lets you plan, optimize with AI, and explore what-if scenarios starting from your existing schedule. Visual planning is included.
- ALICE Model (formerly known as Pro)
- ALICE Model lets you plan, optimize and explore what-if scenarios starting from a 3D model.
- ALICE Model lets you plan, optimize and explore what-if scenarios starting from a 3D model.

Q: If I subscribe to Plan only, can I use the parametrization features on the Plan page, such as crew ranges and duration formulas?
A: No, these features are not included in ALICE Plan. Crew ranges and duration formulas are configuration options that allow the ALICE Optimize algorithm to optimize schedules and explore millions of possibilities. Plan-only customers do not have access to the AI scheduling algorithm, instead they can manually generate schedules using CPM based on static crew counts and duration fields.
