Plan

  • Round Up feature - users can specify a round up interval for ALICE-generated task durations
  • Canvas enhancements:
    • Canvas blocks can be color coded by crew, equipment, material or task status to make it easier to visualize the schedule based on what's most important.
    • Tasks can now be linked to multiple blocks
    • Text size on blocks can now be adjusted to improve readability
    • Users can toggle to show work days or calendar days on blocks
  • WBS Summary Tasks are now fully supported - they can be imported from P6, created or modified in ALICE, and exported back to P6.
    • WBS Summary bars have improved visibility of gaps, critical path and longest path.
    • Labor units are now summed at the WBS and grouping level on both the Plan and Analyze pages
  • Resource Ramp now works in Model (previously only Optimize)

Analyze

  • Insights Agent enhancements:
    • Can answer questions about WBS summary tasks
    • Can answer questions about budgeted labor units and currencies
    • Understands hard logic vs soft logic and factors this into responses
    • Now works in Model (previously only Optimize)
  • Min-Max filters for workday variance, start date variance and end date variance have been added to the comparison view.
  • Duration is now summed at the WBS and grouping level in the Gantt chart on the Analyze page
  • If you created blocks in Canvas, the Analyze page can now be filtered or grouped by block

Dashboard

  • The last modified date of a folder, project or plan now reflects the last time any edits were made or solutions were run.
  • Original uploaded schedule files (ie P6 or MSP) can now be downloaded from the dashboard
  • Project access can now be restricted so that ALICE technical support cannot access projects for troubleshooting unless explicitly invited.
