Overview
Portfolio Performance gives leaders a single-page view of all active projects. At a glance, see which projects are on track, which are behind, how ALICE forecasts their finish dates, and how schedule health and optimization activity compare across the portfolio.
Navigation
Portfolio is accessible from the left nav under the ALICE Technologies account header. Two navigation paths connect Portfolio to Project Performance:
- Portfolio → Project: Click the “>” action icon on any project row to open that project’s Project Performance overview
- Project → Portfolio: Click “View portfolio performance” in the top-right header of the Project Performance overview page
Data scope: active, non-archived Optimize projects only. Trial and MODEL projects are excluded.
Summary Cards
Four summary cards at the top of the page aggregate across all projects in scope:
- Total Projects: Count of active
- Projects Behind Schedule: Count of performance-tracked projects where Current finish exceeds the baseline finish date
- Average Schedule Quality Score: Average Schedule Quality score across all projects with a score
- Optimization Runs: Total optimization runs across all performance-tracked projects.
Project Table
Columns
- Project name: Sortable. Default sort: projects with performance tracking active appear first, then remaining projects. Secondary sort within each group: alphabetical by name.
- % Complete: Actual % complete from the latest progress update. Sub-label shows ahead/behind vs. planned % at this point in the baseline. Sortable.
- Current finish: Finish date from the latest official schedule update. Sub-label shows workdays ahead/behind baseline. Color-coded red when behind. Sortable.
- ALICE forecast finish: Forecast finish calculated from actual production rate (available after 4 progress updates). Sub-label shows workdays ahead/behind vs. Current finish. Color-coded green when earlier than Current finish. Sortable.
- Schedule Quality: Schedule Quality score with visual indicator bar (red/amber/green). Trend arrow shown when score has changed vs. prior update.
- Scenarios: Count of optimization scenarios run for this project.
- Solutions: Count of optimization solutions generated for this project.
- Actions: “>” icon navigates to the project’s Project Performance overview.
Sorting
All columns are sortable by clicking the column header. % Complete, Current finish, and ALICE forecast finish use both primary and secondary values for sort ordering when primary values are equal.
Projects Without Performance Tracking
Projects without a baseline or progress updates appear in the table with project name only.
Search
Search field filters the project table by project name. Filters in real-time as the user types.
